This season, jewelry has gone chunky on all fronts. By all means wear your entire collection of bangles on one arm but leave out the rest of the jewelry, save the earrings. Or you could leave off the earrings and wear not one, but two or more chunky necklaces.

The rest of your outfit should not compete with your jewelry. Such heavily adorned looks go beautifully with minimalist clothing, or simple outfit that are very well cut.
One point to note: chunky jewelry looks best on big or tall women who can carry them off. Avoid them if you are petite as you would look as if the jewels are wearing you, not you wearing them.
